Established in 1956, the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science (UMSOM PTRS) has a long history of providing outstanding education, producing high quality research, and contributing extensively to service.
UMSOM PTRS offers five degrees:
- Entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Rehabilitation Science (PhD)
- Dual DPT-PhD
- Dual Bachelor of Science (BS) – DPT*
- Dual DPT-Master of Public Health (DPT-MPH)
*Select University of Maryland, College Park Kinesiology students
UMSOM PTRS is actively engaged in a variety of post-professional programs:
