Alumni & CEU Events Refund Policy 

Refunds for Paid Events:
In order to receive a full refund for a paid event, the Office of Development and Alumni Relations must receive notice at least one week (5 business days) before the event. Please reach out to Megan Ortega at mortega@som.umaryland.edu to request a refund. Special circumstances will be taken into consideration.

If you choose not to attend an event and prefer to make a charitable donation to the university, for tax purposes, please notify the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at 31 South Greene St, 3rd Floor, Baltimore, MD 21201 in writing that you would like your purchase to become a charitable donation at least one week (5 business days) before the event. Refunds will not be available for no shows at events.

Canceled Events:
UMSOM PTRS reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If an event is cancelled, all registrants will be offered a full refund for their purchased ticket(s), or you may choose to make a charitable donation to the University for tax purposes. If an event is postponed, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the future date.
