Call for Volunteers

Class Captain - Be the contact point and liaison between the department and your classmates. Contact your classmates to invite them to reunions.

   Yes, I would like to serve as a Class Captain.

Executive Board Member - We are always seeking new board members to serve. Time commitment is approximately one hour per month.

   Yes, I would like to serve as an Executive Board Member.

Alumni Committee Member - We are actively seeking alumni to assist with continuing education, social events, membership, and award committees. You can have fun while making a difference for yourself and fellow alums by planning continuing education courses and social events.

   Yes, I would like to participate on an Alumni Committee.

Alumni-Admission Representative - College and career fairs are held all over the country. If your schedule allows, you can assist us by staffing a table that displays department brochures and Admissionss applications. We will notify you when college and/or career fairs will be held in your area.

   Yes, I would like to represent the PTRS department at college and/or career fairs in my area.

Open House Panelist - The Spring and Fall Open House programs includes a 1-hour Student/Alumni Question and Answer session. Prospective applicants will ask questions and alumni provide answers about life as a PT student and PT as a profession. The Spring Open House will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2007.

   Yes, I would like to participate in the Open House Student/Alumni Panel.

Alumni-Admission Mentor - Applicants for Admissions into the DPT program must perform a minimum of 100 hours of work (volunteer or paid) under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. As an Alumni-Admissionss Mentor we will include you as the contact and your workplace on a list of sites where applicants can complete the required hours.
