Keynote Speaker: Emily Keshner, P.T., Ed.D., Professor, Physical Therapy, College of Public Health, and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.
Title of Talk: “Crossroads and Pathways: Reflections of a PT, Researcher and Educator”
Additional Speakers: Elizabeth Woytowicz, PhD, Post- doctoral Fellow University of California, Irvine
Title of Talk: “Complementary Hemispheric Dominance of Bilateral Movements In Young and Old Adults”
The keynote address will be followed by a poster session.
CEU Information: This event is pending approval for .04 contact hours by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.

- Parking is NOT included with the registration fee. All attendees are responsible for parking fees.
- The Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science reserves the right to make changes to the content, time, and location up until the day of the seminar.
Alumni Events Refund Policy
Refunds for Paid Events:
In order to receive a full refund for a paid event, the Office of Development and Alumni Relations must receive notice at least one week (5 business days) before the event. Please call 443-257-2582 or email Deidra Stevens at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a refund. Special circumstances will be taken into consideration.
If you choose not to attend an event and prefer to make a charitable donation to the university, for tax purposes, please notify the Office of Development and Alumni Relations in writing that you would like your purchase to become a charitable donation at least one week (5 business days) before the event. Refunds will not be available for no shows at events.
UMSOM PTRS and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations reserve the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If an event is cancelled, all registrants will be offered a full refund for their purchased ticket(s), or you may choose to make a charitable donation to the University for tax purposes. If an event is postponed, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the future date.
